Science of Synthesis is moving forward and we are excited to share what is coming next. The new, more intuitive platform will launch on 1 April 2026. It is designed to make the daily work of anyone involved in organic synthesis simpler, quicker, and more efficient.

When developing the new Science of Synthesis, we of course took the feedback of our customers into account. Our redesigned platform offers you:

  • Enhanced structure search with improved ranking of results
  • Cleaner layout and clearer structure of hitlists and content
  • Instant overview – chemistry is presented in context
  • Easier navigation
  • New playlist function
  • Additional functions such as marking and notes
  • Expanded help pages and improved user support forms
  • Enhanced accessibility for ADA and EAA compliance
  • And much more …

What remains unchanged is equally important:

The transition should be smooth and fully seamless, with no impact on your access and no change to the URL.

The old SOS version will be available until 31 March 2026. Unless you want to test the new SOS, you do not have to take any action. Starting 1 April 2026, you will be automatically rerouted to the new platform.
