Thieme has a nationwide agreement with the German FID Chemie – Fachinformationsdienst Chemie (Chemistry Information Service), which was newly founded this spring. The agreement allows scientists working at publicly funded institutions in Germany to apply for free access to the Science of Synthesis Database.
The project is funded by the DFG – the German Research Foundation through its program “Fachinformationsdienste für die Wissenschaft” (specialized information services for the scientific community).
Now, just shortly after the project’s launch, all licenses available for 2026 have already been claimed..
The Science of Synthesis Platform has been selected as the first product to be offered within this new national service for chemistry, underlining its scientific relevance and reputation.
